Currently, Baltic Sail includes: Gdańsk, Klaipeda, Rostock, Karlskrona, Nysted, Turku, Szczecin, Sassnitz. This year, once again, the ports associated in Baltic Sail will host sailing festivals, bringing their residents and tourists closer to the maritime traditions of the Baltic Sea region.
The rally is traditionally open to all vessels, including tourist yachts, cutters and motorboats. The aim of the event is to integrate sailing circles and promote the maritime heritage of Gdansk. For sailors, the rally is an opportunity to meet people with similar interests, gain more experience and make new contacts. Baltic Sail is also a unique promotion of Gdansk, so the city is carefully preparing for this event. The rally is planned in such a way that everyone can find something for themselves. The sailing community has the opportunity to present itself to the inhabitants and tourists, and they have a chance to experience an extraordinary sea adventure. All sailing ships moored at the Motlawa embankment at Targ Rybny are available to anyone who would like to learn about their history and customs at sea. Baltic Sail Gdansk is also a unique opportunity to take part in cruises around the Gulf of Gdansk on one of the sailing ships taking part in the rally.
Gdansk, which has a centuries-old maritime tradition, is a perfect place for this type of event. All yachts coming to the Rally from all over Poland and Europe moor in the marina, in the very center of the city, at Szafarnia Street. Every year, the Gdansk marina hosts more and more vessels that perfectly blend in with the architectural image of Old Gdansk.
Welcome to Gdańsk!
