VIVA OLIVA 2023 FESTival

Viva Oliva District Festival - the largest district event in the Tricity, created and implemented by a non-governmental organization, continuously since 2012.

🎵 Concerts, shows 🤹, workshops, trainings, 🎨 outdoor activities 🎯 - everyone found something for themselves and experience a great, inspiring day in an atmosphere of relaxation and fun 🎈.

✊ On this day, the district center - Opat Jacek Rybiński Street, Oliwski Park and War Invalids Square - 🎷 came alive thanks to small and large activities.

🤝 Together, let's show the cultural and social potential of Oliwa - what is best and most important in it 💪.

👌 This unique event was created by people involved in its implementation!

On Saturday, 3.06.2023, dozens of partners joined forces.

The festival was co-financed by the City of Gdańsk.

The evening edition of the Flea Market in Oliwa is full of stands:

unique handicraft - original handmade - candles, soap, crochet, plants, drawings, jewelry, ornaments, ceramics, mascots, cakes, preserves and everything else that you make with your own hands,
vintage and cringe clothes,
music on tapes and discs,
read books and gadgets from the PRL period,
board and computer games (retro-maniacs - welcome!)
lumber and trinkets that are dusty in your wardrobe, basement and attic.

Your dancing mood will be taken care of by DJ Erok - a reliable guy whose musical work you could already know during previous editions of Nocny (this guy rules!).

You will feel the retro atmosphere playing computer classics displayed on the wall. More Mario than Tetris...

Traditionally, you will find chessboards on the tables - it's up to you to choose whether you want to play with white or black. Plus board games if you've already completed chess multiple times.

If you look into the gate under the roof - you will be able to move into the past, where the era of VHS will reign on the big screen.

Kids will be chasing soap bubbles, which will be millions that evening.

If you do not plan a wider interaction with the environment - slap on a chill-chair and contemplate, breathing in the idyllic atmosphere of Oliwa.

At the end (and maybe at the beginning) - you can take a commemorative photo from our fleabag (difficult word!) photo booth.

The culmination of this evening will be the performance of William Malcolm - an American-British singer, musician, composer and producer, who has been performing on stage under the name NIGHTRUN87 - (Neo 80s / Synthpop / Synthwave) since 2015.

The musician, who lives next door in Oliwa, will present an audiovisual live act characterized by a large dose of energy, electrifying sounds of synthesizers and thrilling vocals.
